Roop was started by our very own namesake, Natasha “Roop” Fernandes Anjo,

after she decided to share her love for all things vintage and handmade. Roop is a UK boutique that is based in Manchester where Natasha handmakes all handbags and accessories using quality, and luxury fabrics. When you make a Roop purchase, you’re receiving a one-of-kind gem that keeps things fun and exciting!

 
Natasha originally studied fashion design at university but it wasn’t till years

later did she discover her purpose as a designer or as she likes to say

“it was a beautiful accident.” Natasha approaches design tastefully and is motivated by sustainability and experimentation. She was originally inspired by a shoe strap and experimented with several designs before branding our first collection; the signature tied furoshiki bags. She individually sources the materials and in effort to utilize what’s at her disposal, Natasha uses vintage and remnant fabrics. This means that Roop collections are forever changing and are available for a limited time, once it’s sold out she may not return! We keep it green here and that includes our packaging!
